I wanted to get this tattoo in 2012, but back then I was still someone who felt like she had to ask permission to do something like that, and so I didn’t…
Then it never felt right, and then I got my “clean” tattoo because my life took me to the place where I needed those words inked…
But life is funny, and in 2021 Red comes out again, and it feels like it’s the real Red, I mean, Taylor’s version.
I booked months in advance my appointment on the first release date announced, nov. 19th, and here we are.
Red, the record that introduced me to Taylor, that was by my side in one of the darkest times ever, that changed my life, is now forever inked on my skin.
It’s ironic how this is again a not so good moment in my life, and I know many won’t understand but I still have Red in my headphones and I feel like just by looking and touching this tattoo I can find strength I didn’t know I had.
Nothing like those Friday mornings, 6 am, waking up to new Taylor’s music. And this time is RED. 😍😭

Guys this couldn’t be more true.
I’m from Italy 🇮🇹 and here as you may have heard from the news the situation is dramatic.
We have amazing people working in our hospitals but the medical system is under huge stress, we’re struggling to take care of everyone but people is still dying. We’re trying as much as we can to stay at home and avoid any kind of social events. We’re only are allowed to go out for essential necessities.
I’m going out just once a week to get groceries wearing a mask if I can’t find an available service to get it at home.
I’m checking my temperature twice a day to make sure I’m not showing any symptoms.
It’s not fun. But it’s just the only way to fight this.
Please don’t underestimate this situation. This is important, our future is at stake.
We have social media and technology that allows us to keep in contact and still see each other while we sacrifice for a while for the bigger cause.
Please stay home and stay safe, to protect yourself, your family and all our communities. 🙏🏻
